The beta
Access starts free with a verified Google account, with no payment method on file. Paid plans are billed through Polar, which is the merchant of record: it takes the payment, issues the invoice and handles any sales tax or VAT. A subscription is cancelled from the Polar customer portal and ends at the end of the period already paid for, after which the organization returns to the free plan and its limits. Changing plan starts a new subscription and revokes the old one; the unused remainder of the old period is not refunded or credited. Team invitations still exist for adding members to an organization you already own.
What you can expect
The product is pre-release software. Schemas change, modules arrive and move, and data may be reset with notice. Export what you need to keep; the Management API, the CSV export and scheduled exports exist for that.
There is no service level commitment, no uptime guarantee and no support obligation during the beta.
What we expect
Use it for applications you own or are authorized to instrument. Do not send data you are not allowed to collect, and do not use SaaS Pro Max to track people across sites you do not operate.
Ingest keys identify your application. A public key (spm_pub_…) is meant to be
readable in a browser bundle; a secret key (spm_sec_…) is not, and you are
responsible for keeping it server-side.
Your data
You own the events and person records your applications send. During the beta we access them only to keep the service running or when you ask us to look at something, and never to sell or share them.
Liability
The software is provided as is, without warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost data, lost revenue or any indirect damages arising from the beta.
Ending it
You can stop at any time by removing the SDK and deleting your organization. We can end the beta, or an individual invitation, at any time.
